When I was a boy, an animated feature film by Disney studios changed my life. It was the Aristocats. It had great music in it, that knocked my socks of, as they say. Especially the jazz cats,  with a jam that literally brought he house down!

I wanted to be a part of that, and instead of the expected electrical train set, I asked for a piano (and lessons). And I got one, an antique Hungarian beast that had seen better days. I was over the moon with it.

The love stayed  and grew deeper. I started studying at the Conservatory of music, in Rotterdam. A great city, always in flux, like music. A great time of new things and musical growth!

Since then I have remained active in the field of music, playing at countless venues, and composing music for tv, radio and theatre.
